House Warming

     When you’re home alone, are you feeling empty?  Longing for a mate?  Lonely?  Fill your home with the godly conversation of others.   Have a House Warming gathering.
       House Warmings aren’t just for people who have moved into a new residence.  House Warmings are for believers who want the warmth and joy of Jesus in their very home! Bring the love
indoors…into yours. “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching”  (Hebrews 10:25 NKJV).
       Make room for the gift of God’s presence to more fully enter your home.  Each believer carries Jesus inside of them….so more of Jesus will be visiting your home! 
       Pick up some piles around the house.  Clear out a couple a things; make some room. 
Start with a text, phone call, Facebook invite or personally invite 10 people over for fellowship.  
      Do you cook?  Invite them for dinner.  Don’t cook? Ask them to bring a dish to pass. Dessert is all you can imagine right now for a few hours?  Bake a cake and buy a pie.  Pray before your guests come for a spirit of unity to be there.  Put on some Christian music.  Watch a decent movie or listen to a Christian teaching.  Play games.  Share your favorite scriptures.  Pray.  Just chat.
       Have a House Warming.  “If we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us” (1 John 4:12).  See how you feel the next day.  You may feel tired, but you will feel full in your spirit and heart.  Live on His love that can come additionally through others.
